TechConX 2019 has ended
CIS hosts its 4th Annual TechConX- Educational Technology Conference on February 14th & 15th, 2019 at Canadian International School, Bangalore.  A conference dedicated to exploring and discussing ideas on integrating technology into the classroom. TechConX includes presentations, workshops and hands-on sessions lead by many experienced educators, including those lead by Apple Distinguished Educators as well.


Exploring Creativity with iPad - February 14th

Join us for a day of exploration and discover how iPads can empower both teachers and students to foster creativity, collaboration and curiosity. This day of learning is focused on those thinking of adopting iPads or those early in the implementation of iPads.  There will be opportunities to be hands-on with iPads in workshops, to have a Q and A with Schools that have implemented iPads in India and abroad, and to network with students, teachers, peers and leaders.  


Explore. Engage. Educate. - February 15th

A day of hands-on workshops with a variety of presenters and an exciting Keynote Presentation.  Workshops will be limited in size so that all participants gain and share during each workshop.  Presenter’s bios and workshops will be posted soon.


Please bring an iPad to TechConX, but if you do not have one, we will have some for you to borrow for the conference.

One of the the most powerful drivers of technology adoption is the ability empower learners to develop lifelong learning skills and pursue their interests for learning. How do we achieve this within a well-defined framework created by schools. What does learning look like in schools who promote personalization of learning? What are your drivers of technology adoption in your school or classroom and are they a fit for personalization?

  • Understand and apply a working definition of personalized learning
  • Apply a variety of criteria and concepts of including Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to analyze the ability of technology tools to meet the needs of our diverse learners 
  • Identify areas of need in our own teaching and learning and reflect on how our favorite technologies do or do not foster PL.
